This project consists of the creation of a parametric design tool that is capable of producing the 3D model of a prefabricated module, made up of steel beams, from a set of input parameters. The main inputs are the length, width and height of the module. Depending on these parameters the layout of the beams will adapt automatically. In addition, other dimensions can be modified manually but easily to meet the requirements of each case.
The use of this type of tools allows to improve greatly the design process and the creation of different configurations of the module, while obtaining important metrics on the fly to determine its viability.
