At Aicode Studio, we apply computational design methodologies in order to generate an efficient workflow, according to the nowadays standards, in which exploring new designs, analyzing them and carrying them out is done in the easiest possible way.

At Aicode Studio we believe that new methods of design and manufacturing, must be democratised so that they can be used in all the comunities around the world to address the challenges we face as a society today. Not only do we care about the environment, we also care about the impact on society that we can generate. We want all these technological advances that allow us to do things that were unimaginable until today to be available to each and every person in the world, so that we can effectively and efficiently meet the challenges we face.

Team

The company is currently run by its founder: Aitor Vadillo Barcelona (LinkedIn). He studied a bachelor in mechanical engineering (EHU/UPV) in his hometown, Bilbao, Spain. During a university exchange in Milan, Italy he discovered the field of computational design and industrial design. He continued his studies with a master in parametric design for architecture (MPDA) in Barcelona, Spain.

He has worked in companies oriented to the metallurgy sector and the manufacture of metal 3D printing machines. He also has worked as structural engineer, focusing mainly on timber structures using computational design workflows, at Summum Egineering in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
