Digital Fabrication

Digital manufacturing is a workflow in which numerically controlled machines (CNC) are used. To control and transmit the information to the machine in an efficient and accurate way, it is necessary to be in close contact with the shape of what we want to produce.
The workflow provided by computational design allows us to be in contact with the parameters and functions that generate the shapes, to which we can add the control of the machine that will manufacture them.
This will allow us, in the same process, to modify and optimize the layout of the parts to be obtained, within the base material, in order to generate the parts with as little excess material as possible. It is also possible to optimize the tool path to make the manufacturing time as efficient as possible.
